This is one of three paintings dedicated to my childhood family cottage. This fish poster of the waterlife in the great lakes is part of every child's memory...hanging int he kitchen where countless children eat sandwiches, cucumbers, cereal and when their lucky, ice cream and brownies.  The mirror reflects the turquoise Kitchen door with it's cloth hand towel roll that is part of our bones.

It is our family cottage home on Wolfe Island, Ontario. It has been passed down by 5 generations. Shared now by two many great great great grandkids to ever keep track of :)

This painting is one in a series of three I did, capturing small vignettes of scenes in the old character house that are etched in the hearts, minds, bodies and spirits of every branch of this ever growing and loving family tree.
